Probably, you will think that it&#8217;s not a big issue we can run windows softwares in linux. But, what if we say that you don&#8217;t have to write several commands for installing a single software. Yes! you can do it with the help of <strong>&#8221; Wine &#8220;<\/strong> tool, it is an old tool but it can run most of the software which you can think of. So let&#8217;s start!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Tool Downloading<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So 1st you have to download a software name wine so type this command <strong>( sudo apt install wine )<\/strong> and hit enter\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/reconcybersecurity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screenshot_20211125_025006-1024x81.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-355\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After downloading type <strong>wine<\/strong> and you can see a message from wine it says &#8221; wine32 is missing &#8221; so type the command      (<strong> sudo dpkg &#8211;add-architecture i386 )<\/strong> then hit enter\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reconcybersecurity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screenshot_20211125_025338-1024x105.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-356\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now type <strong>( sudo apt update )<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reconcybersecurity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screenshot_20211125_025604-1024x106.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-357\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now type the last command <strong>( sudo apt install wine32 -y )<\/strong> and hit enter. It takes 4-5 minutes for installing\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reconcybersecurity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Screenshot_20211125_025901-1024x42.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-358\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Download setup file of the software which you want to use for example we are downloading <strong><em>notepad++\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After downloading the setup file come on your terminal and go to the destination where your setup file is saved. Our file is saved in &#8220;Downloads&#8221; directory.
